To achieve a sustainable future, it is imperative that we rethink the construction industry’s approach to building. By examining energy, processes, and materials, we can significantly reduce carbon emissions.

We adopt a comprehensive approach to designing and constructing low-carbon projects that embrace resource efficiency, recycling, renewable energy, electrification, and digitalization. The key to achieving success lies in innovating the production and use of materials to reduce embodied carbon.

To reduce carbon emissions, we employ tailored strategies that vary depending on the project in question. Early decisions, from design and planning to construction or renovation, have a significant impact. We leverage our knowledge to improve the way we design and construct buildings and infrastructure projects, focusing on material selection, resource efficiency, and opportunities to increase circularity while minimizing environmental impact. Carbon emissions associated with a building extend throughout its life cycle. We calculate carbon emissions for materials in all our development unit projects and extend these to more parts of the life cycle for some development and customer projects. Our commitment to sustainability includes providing our customers with certified projects using established certification schemes like Living Building Challenge
